ATM pin can be hacked, while wearing smartwatch

Another study from Binghamton University recommends your smartwatch won’t not be as secure as you’d think – and it may give away your ATM PIN code.As per the researchers, the risk originates from the motion sensors inserted in wearable devices.

Researcher combined data from embedded sensors in wearable technologies with a computer algorithm to break ATM PIN and passwords with a 80% precision on the primary attempt and more than a 90% exactness after three attempts.
